Terms and Conditions for Using the Shohna Shipping Intermediary Platform
Introduction
Welcome to Shohna, a shipping intermediary platform that connects individuals with various licensed shipping companies. Shohna offers customers competitive shipping rates, issuance of shipping waybills, and electronic payments through the platform.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between Shohna and the users. By using the platform’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any provision herein, please stop using the platform immediately.
Shohna reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the platform constitutes implied consent to such changes.

Shohna provides intermediary shipping services between individuals and shipping companies, including offering competitive rates, shipment tracking, electronic payment, and issuance of the shipping waybill.

General Terms
Use of the Platform
• The user must be at least 18 years old and possess full legal capacity.
• The platform may not be used for any unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws and regulations.
User Account
• The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• Shohna shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of a user’s account.
Updates and Maintenance
• Shohna reserves the right to perform periodic updates to improve performance or add new features.
Liability
• The platform shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from misuse of the service.
• The platform is not responsible for the contents of parcels or vehicles, whether visible or concealed.
• The customer bears full responsibility if the shipment contains any prohibited or unauthorized materials or causes damage or harm during transportation.
• The customer acknowledges that they assume all legal and financial consequences related to the contents of the shipment (parcel or vehicle). Shohna’s responsibility is limited to organizing the transportation process between the parties without any involvement in the nature or contents of what is shipped.
• Neither Shohna nor its partners shall bear any compensation or liability for loss, damage, or harm arising from the contents of the parcel or vehicle, or from any inaccurate data provided by the customer regarding them.
• As Shohna is a shipping intermediary that connects customers with shipping companies licensed by the competent regulator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad, shipment guarantees are subject to the policies, terms, and conditions of the selected carrier. Liability lies with the carrier, not with Shohna, with respect to the transported shipment or its contents, verification, or safety. Delivery Status / Delay or Non-Receipt
Shohna’s role is limited to brokerage only and it bears no responsibility for the obligations of the customer or the shipping company, including—without limitation—late receipt or delivery of the vehicle by the customer, refusal or failure to deliver/receive on time, or any financial or regulatory consequences arising therefrom. Such obligations are governed exclusively by the contract between the customer and the shipping company.
Postponement & Cancellation Terms
• After the shipment (vehicles or parcels) has been handed over to the shipping company, the shipping process cannot be canceled and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
• If the customer requests cancellation before handover, and within a maximum of 7 days, 20% of the shipment value will be deducted as a non-refundable administrative fee, and the remaining amount will be automatically refunded to the original payment method.
• The customer may not change or postpone the shipping date after the order is confirmed. Any postponement request in such case is treated as a cancellation, and the same cancellation and deduction rules above will apply.
• The shipping company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of a breach of these Terms or for operational reasons it deems appropriate, without incurring any obligations or liabilities.
User Obligations
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration and while using the platform.
• Refrain from any actions that may endanger the platform or other users.
Changes to These Terms
Shohna reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be published on the official website. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
